Parish News for the Sixth Week in Ordinary Time
This Sunday is the 6th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading we hear Jesus teaching his disciples with four ‘Blessings’ and four ‘Woes’. These are usually called the Beatitudes and through them he teaches that there are no parts of life where God isn’t present. Click here for the Scripture Readings.

HELP NEEDED, please let me know if you can lend a hand!

On Thursdays after the 12pm Mass we gather for a light lunch and a glass of wine for a suggested donation of £2.50. Also on Tuesdays after the 6pm Mass there is always wine served with nibbles.
All welcome!
The Vicar’s holiday
Fr James will be away for his post-Christmas break 21st-26th February, Fr William Davage will be with us on Sunday 23rd, and Fr Guy Willis on Tuesday 25th. There will be NO mass on the 24th or 26th.
Pancake Party
Shrove Tuesday 4th March following the 6pm Mass, all welcome!
Ash Wednesday
5th March, 10am Mass and 7pm Choral Mass both with imposition of ashes. Please bring your palm crosses to church before then to be burnt for the ash which will be used to mark our foreheads.
Electoral Roll
Our roll of church members is due for complete renewal this year which means that everyone needs to complete a new form to remain on the roll. Amongst other things the number on the roll indicates to the powers-that-be how each church is doing, so please help by signing a form after Mass.
