This Sunday is the Fifth in Eastertide. In the Gospel reading from S.John we hear the moment in the Upper Room when Jesus gives his disciples the new commandment of LoveClick here for the scripture readings.

Music on Sunday
This Sunday the choir will sing the Missa Brevis by Simon Preston and Exultate iusti by Lodovico Viadana

The Vicar’s Holiday
Fr James will be on holiday from 21st to 31st May. There will be no Mass on Wednesday 21st or Wednesday 28th May. I will also be away on the Pilgrimage to Walsingham from 2nd to 6th June. The normal Mass schedule resumes on Sunday 8th June.

Thursday Mass and Lunch
The 12 noon Mass next Thursday 22nd May will be celebrated by Fr. Damian Mason, followed by lunch as usual.

Monthly Requiem Mass
Every last Tuesday of the month at 6pm, Mass will be offered as a Requiem for those in our Chantry Book. The next Requiem Mass will be on Tuesday 27th May at 6pm and the celebrant will be Fr. Christopher Stolz. If you would like a departed loved one to be named at the altar, please email me before Wednesday 21st May.
