This Sunday is the 19th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus warns us to be prepared for his coming, to be ready and watchful ‘for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.’

Music on Sunday
This Sunday the choir will sing the Communion Service in Phrygian Mode by Charles Wood and Exultate justi by Orlando di Lasso.
Fr James on retreat
The Vicar will be away for a few days from the 11th August. Thank you to Fr Corbett from S.Silas for celebrating the masses on the 12th and 14th.
Choral Evensong for the Assumption
On Sunday 17th August at 5pm we will mark the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary with Choral Evensong. Please put the date in your diary and come along for worship with superb music, followed by Pimm’s.
Breakfast Church
From 7th September there will a Sunday service for young families at 9am for 30mins with coffee and pastries for the grown-ups, please spread the word!
