‘Tis Mary’s Month of May

April 30, 2026 by Oliver Baldwin in Weekly News

The happy birds Te Deum sing, ’tis Mary’s month of May! This Sunday we celebrate the May Devotion to our Lady, giving thanks to God for her role in our salvation as Mother of his Son, and seeking her prayers for our world, our parish, ourselves and those whom we love.

Our Annual Parish Council Meeting will take place after Mass on Sunday 10th May.

Magnificat May edition
The May edition of Magnificat is now available with Mass readings, reflections and prayers. Pick up a copy from Fr James or Fr Oliver for a suggested donation of £5 or pay what you can.

Church Open Day
On Sunday 17th May we will open our doors from 12pm to 4pm, followed by Choral Evensong for Ascension Sunday. Previous open days have been very popular and a great opportunity to welcome local people to All Hallows. If you are able to help with the Pimms bar, bric-a-brac stall or show visitors around the church, please speak to Fr James or Fr Oliver.
