Back to Church Sunday!

This Sunday is the 23rd in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus tells his disciples that ‘where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.’ On this ‘Back to Church Sunday’ let us recommit ourselves to the life of our Christian community rejoicing in Christ’s presence among us. Click here to look up the scripture readings.

This Sunday the choir will sing the Mass in C&F by Charles Villiers Stanford and Sicut cervus by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina.

‘Back to Church Sunday’

• Following the 10am Solemn Mass there will be Welcome Drinks for all newcomers.
• This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbours to explore our church and meet our community.

S Mary Brookfield Patronal Festival
Our friends at S Mary Brookfield will be celebrating their patronal festival on Tuesday 8th September with a Solemn Mass for the Nativity of Our Lady at 7pm. The preacher will be Fr Guy Willis. Do go along to support them.

New Rosary Group
On Sunday 13th September we will be praying the Rosary after post-Mass coffee. If you would like to find out more about this beautiful devotion to Our Lady please speak to Fr Oliver.

Walsingham Festival at S Andrew Holborn
On Wednesday 23rd September at 7pm, S Andrew Holborn will celebrate a Festival Mass in honour of Our Lady of Walsingham. The Administrator of the Shrine, Fr Ben Eadon will preach. Mass will be followed by drinks and a light supper. All welcome!

Choral Evensong for Michaelmas
On Sunday 27th September at 5pm we will celebrate the Feast of S Michael and All Angels with Choral Evensong. Come and hear our wonderful choir. Put the date in your diary now.
