Parish News for 23rd Week in Ordinary Time

September 5, 2024 by James Elston in Weekly News

This Sunday is the 23rd in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus heals a man who is deaf and dumb. As always in the healing miracles of Jesus there is a deeper meaning. All of us are in need of healing particularly when we become spiritually deaf to God’s loving purposes for us.  Click here for the Scripture Readings.
