This Sunday is the 26th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus challenges his disciples when they try to restrict healing miracles to themselves. Jesus always challenges any narrowness in our vision of God’s love.  Click here for the Scripture Readings.Music on Sunday

On Sunday morning the choir will sing the Messa a 4 voci da Capella by Claudio Monteverdi and Adoramus te, Christe Orlando di Lassus

Choral Evensong for Michaelmas 
Sunday 29th September at 3.30pm, followed by cake, tea and wine. The choir will sing the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis in G minor by Henry Purcell, Preces and Responses by Thomas Tomkins, and Factum est silentium by Richard Dering. Please speak to Fr James if you can bake a cake or help with refreshments.

Blessing of Animals for S.Francistide
Saturday 5th October 11am, a short service of thanksgiving and blessing for our pets. All (well behaved) animals and their owners welcome!

Harvest Supper 
Saturday 12th October at 6pm, with homemade pizzas by Graham and Mario with entertainment from the Gospel Oak Community Choir. Bring your own bottle and invite your friends. All welcome!


Monthly Requiem Mass
On the last Tuesday of every month the 6pm Mass will be offered as a Requiem for those in our Chantry Book. If you would like to have a departed loved one remembered at the altar at the monthly requiem please speak to Fr James. The next Requiem Mass will be on Tuesday 25th September.
