Parish News for 28th Week in Ordinary Time

October 13, 2024 by James Elston in Weekly News

This Sunday is the 28th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading the disciples are astonished as Jesus tells them, It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.Jesus bids us not to place all our trust and value in the passing things of this world but to our keep eyes steadily fixed on him who calls us and loves us.  Click here for the Scripture Readings.
