Parish News for 29th Week in Ordinary Time
This Sunday is the 29th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading the disciples are a bit cross with James and John for asking Jesus for the best places in heaven. However, Jesus reminds them that he came not as one to be served but as one who serves and this is how we we should be too. Click here for the Scripture Readings.

Mass Time Changes
Fr James will be taking a short break during half-term, so there will be no Mass on Monday 28th or Wednesday 30th October. The Masses on Tuesday 29th and Thursday 31st October will be covered by Fr. Chris Stoltz and Fr. Guy Willis.
All Souls’ Day
On Saturday 2nd November at 12pm we will remember our departed loved ones in a Requiem Mass. We will pray for our departed loved ones by name. If there is a name you would like to be
read at the Mass, please add the names to the sheet at the back of church or contact Fr James
(Nb. No monthly requiem on 29th October)
Patronal Festival
On Sunday 3rd November at 5pm there will be a High Mass for All Saints, with Bishop Jonathan, followed by a reception. PLEASE COME!.
Please sign the sheet at the back of church if you can bring food for the buffet. We also need volunteers to serve drinks at the bar.
For those who can’t make the 5pm High Mass, there will also be a Mass with Baptism on Sunday 3rd November at 10am.
