Parish News for Ascension Sunday
This Sunday we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord. Having been with his disciples for forty days after his Resurrection, Jesus ascends to heaven to sit at the Father’s right hand. We rejoice that where he has gone ahead we will one day follow, full of hope that one day he will come again.

Music on Sunday
This Sunday the choir will sing the Krönungs-Messe by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Alleluia, ascendit Deus by William Byrd.
Church Open Day
This Sunday 17th May we will open our doors from 12pm to 3pm, followed by Choral Evensong for Ascension Sunday at 3.30pm. Attractions include bric-a-brac stall, tombola, knitting workshop, and homemade cake. Please invite your friends and neighbours to see our beautiful church and enjoy our hospitality.
Choral Evensong
Join us this Sunday at 3.30pm following the Open Day for Choral Evensong. The choir will sing Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in E by Herbert Murrill and Coelos ascendit hodie by Charles Villiers Stanford.

Last week at our Annual Parish Council Meeting, Lesley Perry and Laurent Rieder were elected as our Churchwardens and the electoral roll numbered 125.
Rosary Group
May is the month of Mary and on Sunday 31st May after Mass we are offering a short guide to praying the holy rosary. All welcome and rosaries will be provided!
