Parish News for the 22nd Week in Ordinary Time
This Sunday is the 22nd in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus tells his disciples to take up their cross and follow him. Let us take up our cross with courage and in faith to follow our Lord who conquers death and brings new life. Click here to look up the scripture readings.
Music this Sunday
This Sunday the choir will sing the Missa brevis in F by Franz Josef Haydn and Adoramus te, Christe by Orlando di Lasso.
Back to Church Sunday
Join us on Sunday 6th September for Back to Church Sunday. Following the 10am Solemn Mass there will be Welcome Drinks for all newcomers. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbours to explore our church and meet our community.
S Mary Brookfield Patronal Festival
Our friends at S Mary Brookfield will be celebrating their patronal festival on Tuesday 8th September with a Solemn Mass for the Nativity of Our Lady at 7pm. The preacher will be Fr Guy Willis. Do go along to support them.
New Rosary Group
On Sunday 13th September we will be praying the Rosary after post-Mass coffee. If you would like to find out more about this beautiful devotion to Our Lady please speak to Fr Oliver.
Walsingham Festival at S Andrew Holborn
On Wednesday 23rd September at 7pm, S Andrew Holborn will celebrate a Festival Mass in honour of Our Lady of Walsingham. The Administrator of the Shrine, Fr Ben Eadon will preach. Mass will be followed by drinks and a light supper. All welcome!
Choral Evensong for Michaelmas
On Sunday 27th September at 5pm we will celebrate Choral Evensong for the Feast of S Michael the Archangel. Come and hear our wonderful choir. Put the date in your diary now.
