Parish News for the 2nd Week of Lent
This Sunday is the 2nd Sunday of Lent. In the Gospel reading, we hear of Jesus’ transfiguration in the presence of his disciples. As we continue our Lenten pilgrimage, let us keep our spiritual eyes fixed on the light of Easter.

Music on Sunday
This Sunday the choir will sing the Missa brevis by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Adoramus te, Christe by Orlando di Lasso.
Finding God in Lent
A 30-minute study group continues this Sunday after coffee in the Good Shepherd Chapel. This week we will be looking at Lectio Divina: Imagination and Scripture. Next Sunday 8th March the subject will be the Examen: Finding God in your day. All welcome!
Wine and Wisdom
On Wednesday evenings in March at 7pm we will be having an informal theological reading and discussion group – over a glass of wine! The themes will be faith, existence, the Church, and the Eucharist. Please speak to Fr Oliver to find out more.
Monthly Mass of Our Lady
Join us this Saturday at 10am for our new monthly Mass in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by coffee and homemade cake. All welcome!
Marathon Fundraiser for London Air Ambulance
Kitty, a member of our congregation, will be running the London Marathon on 26th April in aid of London’s Air Ambulance. Please support her by donating here. We wish her the best of luck!
Baptism and Confirmation
Bishop Jonathan will be with us for the Easter Vigil on 4th April at 8pm. If you are interested in being baptised or confirmed at this Mass, please speak to Fr James or Fr Oliver.
Pilgrimage to Walsingham
There is one space left for the weekend pilgrimage to Walsingham in June. If you are interested, please let Fr Oliver know. Details of our midweek pilgrimage from 24th-28th August will be released in due course.

We are planning a fully guided tour of Rome from Monday 5th to Friday 9th October with four nights in a city centre hotel, including breakfast and supper, at a cost of £1265 per person (sharing) or £1385 per person (single room). The cost includes BA flights from Heathrow. Brochures are available from Fr Oliver or Fr James. Please note that bookings will need to be made by the end of March.
