This Sunday is the 5th in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading, Jesus tells his disciples that they are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Let us consider how we can be salt and light for the world around us.

Music on Sunday
This Sunday the choir will sing the Communion Service in F by Harold Darke and Tantum ergo by Louis Vierne.

Fr James Away
Fr James will take a short break from Thursday 12th to Tuesday 17th February. The Healing Mass on Thursday 12th February will be celebrated by Fr Damien Mason. Fr William Savage will be with us for Solemn Mass next Sunday 15th February. Fr James will be back in the parish for the 6pm Shrove Tuesday Mass and Pancake Party on 17th February.

Magnificat February edition
The February edition of Magnificat is now available with daily Mass readings, reflections and prayers. Please pick up a copy from Fr James for a suggested donation of £5 of pay what you can.

Baptism and Confirmation
Bishop Jonathan will be with us for the Easter Vigil on 4th April at 8pm. If you are interested in being baptised or confirmed at this Mass, please speak to Fr James or Fr Oliver.

Magnificat February Edition
The February edition of Magnificat is now available with daily Mass readings, reflections and prayers. Please pick up a copy from Fr James for a suggested donation of £5 or pay what you can.

Pilgrimage to Walsingham
If you are interested in joining the pilgrimage to Walsingham from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June, please speak to Fr Oliver.

Pilgrimage to Rome
We are planning a fully guided tour of Rome from Monday 5th to Friday 9th October with four nights in a city centre hotel, including breakfast and supper, at a cost of £1265 per person (sharing) or £1385 per person (single room). The cost includes BA flights from Heathrow. Brochures are available from Fr Oliver or Fr James. Please note that bookings will need to be made by the end of March.
