Parish News for the Assumption

This Sunday we celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In this wonderful feast we give thanks for Our Lady and her place in our salvation. Let us follow her example of faith and trust in the God as we ask for her prayers. Click here to look up the scripture readings.

Music this Sunday
This Sunday the choir will sing the Missa brevis in C by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Sancta et immaculata by Cristóbal de Morales.

Refreshments after Mass
Mass on Sunday will be followed by amaretto as is our tradition in honour of our Lady’s Assumption. 

Solemn Vespers and Benediction for the Assumption
Our friends at S Silas, Kentish Town, have invited us to their celebration of the Assumption of our Lady with Solemn Vespers and Benediction this Saturday 15th August at 5pm. All welcome.

Magnificat August edition
The August edition of the Magnificat is now available with daily Mass readings, reflections and prayers. Pick up a copy from Fr James for a suggested donation of £5 or pay what you can.
